Seasonal lighting gives private-label sellers a clear story, but the selling window is short. A disciplined assortment plan keeps design work, sampling and production focused on the patterns most likely to earn shelf space.
Use a shared product platform
Keeping one base, electrical structure and carton format across Halloween and Christmas SKUs reduces complexity. The assortment can change visually through fabric artwork while core inspection points remain consistent.
Create a simple SKU architecture
- Choose one or two hero designs for campaign photography
- Add two broad-appeal designs for volume
- Keep one distinctive pattern for specialty channels
- Use clear seasonal names and artwork codes
Work backward from the selling date
Allow time for artwork confirmation, printed shade sampling, electrical review, packaging approval, production, inspection and freight. Confirm the actual schedule with the supplier rather than relying on a generic lead-time estimate.
Prepare content during sampling
Photograph the approved sample switched on and off, against both white and styled backgrounds. Capture packaging, cable and switch details so the same asset set can support product pages, wholesale line sheets and customer service.
Confirm commercial terms per project
MOQ, unit price, packaging, certification scope and delivery terms depend on the chosen model, quantity and destination. Treat an initial price as a reference until the full specification is agreed.
